The CDFI Program uses monetary awards and training opportunities to invest in and build the capacity of CDFIs, empowering them to grow, achieve organizational sustainability, and drive community revitalization. In FY 2019, CDFI Program awardees:
- Financed more than 19,000 businesses
- Provided funding for more than 51,300 affordable housing units
- Originated more than $21.5 million in loans and investments
